I started with a rust free alabama body and completely disassembled it and placed the body on a rotisserie from there it was completely stripped of any and all paint and under coatings and epoxy primed and urethane coated for complete and lasting corrosion protection. The frame was prepped and tied together to the sub-frame using global suspension components and a g-force transmission cross member installed to prep it for the 600 hp pontiac 400 motor bored and stroked to 468 cubic inches. A 700r4 transmission with electronic lock-up converter makes it great for cruising the highway as well as plenty of power from go. A vacuum pump for the brakes assure plenty of assist even at idle. All professionally built and installed. All suspension is new and updated with urethane bushings and mounts. Extensive research has been done to assure the best combination for drive-ability and performance. The entire inside lower body has been covered in eastwood sound deadener so the driver can enjoy the pioneer stereo/cd with rockford -fosgate amp and sub-woofer. The exhaust is from pypes and connected by doug's ceramic headers. There truly is too much too list and hundreds of photographs document the restoration process. I built this car because i love it not to make money. I am a professional body tech with 30 years experience the body was built by me for me with the intention of keeping it for a very long time and that is the way i built it. It has an ls1 with an ls6 conversion. It has a massive cam and a full racing exhaust. Everything else is stock other than the engine and exhaust. The top is only 2 years old and is in spectacular condition. I have top covers for when the top is down. The interior is excellent condition and everything including the radio is original. The paint is original except the primer black hood. (matches the top) it has 65000 original miles. I can not stress enough how low that is for it being a 2001.
